Together with partner company Optec Group, AMK becomes the exclusive distribution partner of Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, Carl Zeiss MicroImaging GmbH, and Carl Zeiss Industrial Measurement Technology — responsible for Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
Optec Group grows to over 16 branches and 300 employees across the region, establishing one of the most extensive Zeiss distribution networks outside Western Europe.
After selling the broader Optec Group business activities, AMK Management Services refocuses on Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan as the exclusive distribution partner of Carl Zeiss Meditec AG and Carl Zeiss MicroImaging GmbH.
Operating in Azerbaijan as AMK Medical & Science, the company continues as an independent, specialised, family-run business — now led by its second generation, with deep local roots and strong ties to international suppliers in the Western world.
